Hey there,


This afternoon I was trying to install a new Pioneer tapedeck in my '86
Vanagon, to replace the current VW tapedeck.  It looks like I have
successfully spliced the speaker-out wires and re-connected them to their
rightful place to Pioneer... however, the only thing that's giving me
trouble is figuring out which wire supplies the power to the stereo?  I
thought that I had narrowed it down to one out of two wire possibilities,
but neither worked.  I've consulted my Bentley manual for the electronic
schematic for the stereo, but still can't get power to the tapedeck.


If anyone can help me out or give me some advice, please drop me some email...
