To all of you that responded to my question......Thank you! Ya know, it seems like sometimes I get frustrated with this restoration project because I am not a mechanic. However, it is suprisning how fast one learns if you have a few books and a terrific resource like the Vanagon Listserv. As I sometimes get disgusted and wonder WHY in the H*ll I decided to take a complete restoration project on (laugh), I read the Listserv and it seems to give me an injection of optimism and hope!. This is undoubtably the most useful resource I have found.

Again thanks to everyone!........(I'm sure I will have many more questions in the future!) The good news is.........I will hopefully be able to contribute to the serv in the future with my experiences.
