Subject: Auto tranny replacement note

Hi all, I just wanted to pass on some wisdon from experience on the tranny replacement (auto) thread. The tranny in my '86 Westy went out last year so this winter I pulled it and started looking for a replacement. I found one locally and bought it ($400 :-( ). #s were right everything seemed OK. BUT, dumb me I didn't realize my Westy has a trans. cooler but the one I bought didn't (really dumb because you can see the difference from 10 feet). Sooo, I now need a auto tranny with a cooler and need to get rid of this one. If you need an automatic make sure you see if you do or don't have a cooler on yours and buy accordingly. I think most Westies had coolers and non-Westies didn't - so, if you don't have a westy and need a Tranny call me (614) 688-9334 and if you have one with a cooler do the same!

Eric
