Subject: Engine swap- parts available

I finally got all the parts rounded up (I hope). for a Subaru engine swap. Last night I got started removing the engine. Got the oil drained and the sensor wires disconnected and labled. Air box and Tail pipe are out of there. Question is : Where do I start to drain the cooling system so there isn't coolant spewing out of every hose I disconnect? I will be parting out the old engine, whatever might be salvageble. It died a horrible death with a rod coming out the top of the case. I peered in the hole last night and saw more tiny parts lying in the bottom of the case. Since it hasn't been running in over a year and a half and I've never heard it running; nothing has any guarantee it will work, but I will ship most parts for the cost of shipping.
