Bobs Vw of West Springfield told me that they rebuild sycnro engines for 3500
thats labor and engine rebuild....it was cheaper for the regular gl so im
guessing that he was talkin bout the difference between the 1.9 and 2.1liter
or maybe they did soemthing specifically different for the syncro.
