Hmmmm.  That's news to the Bosch folks.  They're still available from them.

PN 0450 901 005  (VW 133 133 511).  I get $4.95 (Don't have the new Bosch
Price Book yet for '98, but I keep hearing it's going down).  VW was
getting a little over $10 at last report for this filter.

It would surprise me that VW would obsolete a part number that shows in
their price list as an "A" mover.  They did the same thing with the 211 711
185B shift bushing a couple of years ago.

FWIW, the Wix unit is an excellent filter.  But my past experience has been
that Wix tends to be on the expensive side in their filter line.
