Volks,
Did a front brake job on the 87GL, okay I admit, farmed it out this time
to Hans, (or was it Dieter?), long story, however mechanic says that one
of the little flexboots on the caliper was torn and may cause probs
later. He felt the caliper had to be rebuilt to be able to replace the
flex boot. Is there a work-around for this, any rubber tape etc. I have
heard about for ball joints etc. Any and all data digested and
appreciated.
