That's funny, I just had my 2100 rebuilt and the guy who did the laber said he has never seen this happen before. Not once. Till mine that is. He said that if it'd been the lottery, I'd have won.

Yes it dripped bad. I had puddles all over the place. I had to quit parking on the driveway. Then I was afraid the EPA would come along and tell me I'd have to get the "hazardous waste" in the gravel removed at my cost.

But Jerry at Con Rod Northwest was good on his word and removed my transaxle to replace the Main Seal. It still leaked so he actually gave me a loaner Vanagon and went back in to see where it was leaking from. It turned out to be the Galley plug. He used some sort of liquid steel to fix it. I didn't really like that idea but hey. It doesn't leak anymore. So I guess he fixed it.

I thought a threaded plug would be better too but after he pulled it twice at his cost, I wasn't going to complain. No drips.
