A VW ROAD RALLY WITH SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE! ALL FREE, INCLUDING FOOD, WITH AWARDS FOR: COOLEST HIPPIE DUDE, COOLEST HIPPIE CHICK, COOLEST HIPPIE COUPLE, YOUNGEST HIPPIE, OLDEST HIPPIE & COOLEST SETTA WHEELS. CRUISING ACROSS THE CORNERS OF TN, NC, SC & GA WE'LL DO VW SHOP TOURS, VW BONEYARD TOURS, PICNICS, PHOTO STOPS, VW PARTS SALES/SWAPS & MORE. CALL 423 429-8009 FOR MORE INFO.

SATURDAY, MARCH 8, 1998 8:30am - Gather @ Ingles parking lot, intersection of 25E & 25-70, in Newport, TN. 9:00am - Leave Newport headed towards North Carolina on 25-70. 9:45am - Pass through Hot Springs, NC. 10:30am - Gas stop, 25-70 just before Asheville bypass (usual place). 11 a.m.- - Head towards I-26 east on Asheville bypass 240. Take I-26 East to Fletcher, NC exit 13. Take the exit then North and after a couple of gear shifts pull into GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE on the right. 11:45 a.m. - Arrive @ GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE for Special One Hour Sale, Shop Tour, Boneyard Tour, Seminar, Free Hot Dogs & Drinks provided by the =46LAMING VWs CLUB of NC. 12:45 p.m. - Leave GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE headed east on I-26 to exit 23 and Hwy. 25 south to Greenville, SC for gas stop.

1:45 p.m. - Leave gas stop headed South on Hwy. 25 to Hwy. 123 towards Clemson, SC. NOTE: WATCH CLOSELY FOR 123 ON YOUR RIGHT. IT APPEARS TO BE A SMALL WINDING SIDE STREET BUT IS YOUR ENTRANCE TO 123. Take 123 to the Liberty Exit. In Liberty follow signs left to Central, SC.

2:45 p.m. - Arrive @ VW PARTS in Central, SC for a Special Half Hour Sale with Sandwiches & Drinks provided by The COUNTRY CRUISERS VW CLUB.

3:15 p.m. - Leave VW PARTS headed for MERCK=92S VW and a great VW Boneyard Tour. Follow the leader on this one.

3:45 p.m. - Leave MERCK=92S VW headed for Calhoun Falls State Park (for campers) and the Elberton, GA Days Inn (for the less daring). We=92ll leave the Clemson area headed for Anderson where we=92ll pick up Hwy. 81 to Calhoun 46alls SP then Hwy. 72 to Elberton. 4:45 p.m. - Campers arrive @ Calhoun Falls State Park. 5:15 p.m. - Non-Campers arrive @ Elberton, GA Days Inn.

SUNDAY, MARCH 9, 1998 9:30 a.m. - Begin gathering @ Days Inn for photos & preparation to leave. 10:00 a.m. - Leave Days Inn headed towards Athens, GA then North on Hwy. 441 through Commerce and to DENTON'S CUSTOM VW in Homer, GA.

11:15 a.m. - Arrive @ DENTON'S CUSTOM VW in Homer, GA for a Great VW Boneyard Tour, Special Half Hour Sale with Free Hot Dogs & Drinks.

12 noon - Leave DENTON'S CUSTOM VW going South on 441 then towards Atlanta on I-85. Take the Hwy. 20 exit off I-85 and follow Hwy. 20 to Cartersville, GA.

2:45 p.m. - Arrive @ DOUG'S FOREIGN AUTO SERVICE on 216 E Cherokee Ave. in Cartersville, GA for Shop Tour and VW Boneyard Tour with Free Cookout and Awards Presentations hosted by the COOL BREEZE VW CLUB.
