        I was looking at a few of the dealerships in the Bay Area and found
the Fremont VW place doing this on TDI Jettas as well. Ok, I looked at two
and the Berkeley dealership didn't tack on a "Dealer markup" (And they didn't
a markup because the same cars had the same before dealer's markup MSRP). Try
 a few different dealers and maybe one of them will be happy with the cut they
get at the MSRP or maybe hone your haggling skills on the place that is
blantly trying to get additional money out of you ;)
