  I, for one, would like to know why Tim feels it is neccessary to make
that "one" comment...

    What is your side of the story, Tim??

    Why do you have a problem?


        this constant sniping is really getting old and not at all
worthy of this List...

   I'm thinking of Unsubscribing from this list due to the petty
sniping, the vocal minority who want to convert to some other maker's
powerplant, and people who don't know how to use the archives....

    I've been a member of this List since well before the split-up...
I've noticed more and more that lately the mellower folks are over at
Type2...

    I had (until this past sunday) a stock '85 GL that I really loved...
when the Head gaskets went the first time, I did not consider any other
powerplant... when they went the second time, I did fantasize about a
mega horsepower turbo monster Nitrous V-6 or V-8 transplant... What's
going in as we speak??
    Boston Bobs' heads, and stock P & Cs along with a full gasket set
complete with correct Cukric sealants...

    What's wrong with being satisfied with OE??
