Hi all,

While poking around the engine today, I took a closer look at a connector and my curiosity is up. On the passenger's side, between the alternator and the airbox, there is a grey wire (or tube) with a big black piece on the end. The black piece has a cap that you can take off. Since I was fooling with everything else, I took the cap off to see what was in it. It is some type of electrical connector. Now the question, what is it for? Is it for testing? Is it for a part that wasn't installed on my vanagon?

Thanks! Tonya 87 Vanagon GL Wolfs 74 S. Beetle (for sale) ______________________________
