Hell I tried to sell mine with 85k at the time and couldn't get an offer for a $1500 asking, with $6000 in receipts and new heads a mere 20k back. $2500 for an '85 that isn't a camper seem ridiculous, unless it had at least half of that in proven receipts no more than a year old. And even then with say a top end rebuild I would not go over $1800 or so, I mean we've seen '89-'91s asking $5000 or so recently.
