Subject: Life of Auto Trans. - how long????
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Howdy, As I look for (and have found) an used replacement for the auto trans. in my Westy I am wondering what is considered high miles or how long do they last under decent care/driving (under a Westy load)?? I'm sure some have only lasted 30k and others 200k but I'd like to hear what some peoples experiences are and what range I should look for in buying a used one.

Thanks, Eric
