I have a strange scraping/clunking/reverberating noise that occurs when I go over a driveway bump or dip. It increases in frequency when someone is in the passenger seat. But it doesn't happen when going over normal bumps in the road. I have just had the springs replaced on the rear and an alignment done that is finally accurate...the guys at the shop did hear the noise and thought it might be a lubrication problem around the front end springs...but that did not fix the problem...it may be that I need to replace the front end springs as well, but it doesn't seem to ride low or sag like the rear did. It seems to be coming from the passenger side. Thanks for any suggestions or advice, Rick 85 Westie |
