If you happen to be in the Louisville area and need service, allow me to make a recommendation to the list . Before I give the name of this organization, allow me to say that I am not now, nor have I ever been affiliated with this company in any way other than as a customer (a satisfied customer at that). I recently had the retaining ring on the rear shift rod break where it connected to the shift guide rod {that 4" long piece of metal that the shift rod moves along when you're running through the gears}. Anyway, I took it to The Volksdoctor here in Louisville, KY and they had the problem fixed in a matter of 2 hours. I was impressed with their service and with their politeness. If you should happen to break down in this area while visiting the Kentucky Derby or any other time, I would highly recommend these guys. They did a good job quickly which is something I value. If this is too commercial, delete it and accept my apologies. If you want more info on them, e-mail me. I'll not post anything else concerning them if it is not requested. Thanks for your time, Joe Denison |
