oops, forgot to mention that it has air conditioning. ----------------------------------------------------- good morning volks, we're selling our '85 westy, took the plunge and bought a new '97 winnie (doesn't have quite the ring as westy does it) yesterday. too good a deal to pass up... anyway, here's the scoop: -'85 vanagon westfalia camper -second owner -2.1L engine with head gaskets replaced about 30K ago -auto tranny -bronze metallic color, NO RUST, body is perfect -new michelin (the expensive side wall reinforced, heavy load type) tires, under 5K on them -complete camping interior with poptop, stove, refrigerator, rear bed, swivel front seats, all curtains, etc, etc -sony removable face am/fm cassette stereo, 35W X 4 -brakes completely gone over -fi system, bosch digijet, completely gone over -tranny fluid recently changed -coolant recently changed -recent tune up -includes optional middle swivel seat -new poptop and luggage rack seal -new utility outlets -a/c with good compressor on van (needs recharged) and NEW spare compressor i spent much of this past winter getting it ready for camping season. there's nothing left to do. the bus runs great, looks great, and needs nothing, seriously. it's been owned and maintained by a vw bus enthusiast and list member, me :-) i'm asking $5,000 or best offer pics will be available in the next couple of days. please pmail me if you would like to see them sorry for the bandwidth, tony cincinnati, ohio |
