Check the VIN of my Fox Wagon: 9BW - Indicates VW do Brazil (3VW is Mexico) DB2 - Non Significant Check Digits 30 - Indicates Fox Sedan or Wagon 7 - Non Significant NHSTA Check Digit L - Model Year (1990) P - Mfg Plant - San Bernardo do Campo (M is Puebla, Mexico) 015891 - Serial Number of the Vehicle Are there any Foxes out there with "3VW" at the beginning of the VIN as well as an "M" in the 11th Character/Digit of the VIN? I don't think so. My engine says made in Mexico though.
