> Has anyone dealt with California Imports for exhaust parts? > Their prices are about 1/2 of what Parts Place advertises. In the interest of checking up on new competition, I checked California Imports' prices on Vanagon exhaust. Piece by piece, my prices are better. For example, for a complete 1.9L Vanagon exhaust (everything but the CAT and bolts), their advertised "sale" prices add up to $363, while my everyday price is $299. Similarly, they charge $521 for 2.1L, versus my $469, and $602 for Syncro versus my $549. Furthermore, they didn't have everything in stock. (I do.) This is for the identical parts (Dansk pipes, etc.). -Ron Salmon The Bus Depot http://www.busdepot.com |
