Fellow Listee,

It is obvious from regular participation on the List, as well as perusal of Uncle Joel's famous statistical analysis, that we are a diverse group geographically (and in many other ways, as well).

In order to help keep track of who is who, I find it extremely helpful to have as many memory jogs as possible. For me, the geographic location of individuals helps lock their identity into my slowly fading cranium. (After all, once we pass age 18 or so, our bodies begin their inevitable downward slide, not unlike some of our beloved vans.)

My suggestion is that a geographic description be appended to our signatures. This would, of couse, be entirely voluntary, as some may wish to remain sealed in the cloak of cyber space.

The style of description could be as individualistic as our signatures. Some examples that come to mind include Two Boulders, AZ, Madhatten, NY, Hill and Dale, KY, Almost Perfect, BC, Smogland, CA, The Land that Time Forgot, MT, and Sky Blue Waters, MN (in my own case).

How about it Listees? What do you think?
