I could not agree with you more, Ken.

I had a similar problem, and I started out for my local VW guy....

What I did not know, was that the leak was steadily getting worse and that a considerable amount of gas was pouring out underneath the van.

When I got to the VW place, my mechanic read me the riot act and proceeded to show me pictures of several burnt out vans.

It was nothing more than a rotted fuel line. He didn't even charge me for the new hose and clamps.

If I ever have a problem like that again....I will be sure to heed your advice!
