Hi All,

I am getting ready to put the full camper interior back into my '86 Syncro. When I do this I am going to run the propane lines for the Carver P4 that I hope to have soon. What I would like to do along with this is mount some sort of a T fitting in the propane line that would allow me to hook up one of those common propane tanks used for barbeques, campers, etc. That way if I ever needed/wanted to be out for a prolonged period in the winter, I could take as much propane as I wanted to run the Carver and the stove. My plan is to have the T fitting somewhere underneath the van near the propane tank so that I could just set the extra propane tank outside. Does anyone have any experience with this? I thought that I would bounce this idea off the list before I went off on my own:) I also thought about mounting a second propane tank under the van next to the factory one ( I have an extra ) but it does not look like there is enough room and I don't think I want one one the other side. Besides even with this setup I would be limited, whereas if I had the ability to attach a tank my supply would be limited to how many tanks I could pack in the van;) I know, I know, I shouldn't carry propane inside the vehicle! I would appreciate your ideas and comments. Thanks.
