Maybe, but maybe not. I ascribe to that theory that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If the Monroes you have on your Van are up to the task and have been performing to your satisfaction, then I would leave it alone.

When I got my 84 Westy, there were Monroes installed in the rear, OE up front. After traveling with the full parts and display cases load I carried for the last 6 months of '97, I did notice that some "wallow" and "bounciness" was appearing, especially if I was driving unloaded during this winter. I recently changed to KYB's all around and the handling in general improved to the state it was when I first got it, which is pretty darn good.
