Well it's time for me to add my .02 to the list.  At the urging of some
friends I took a half day off and went to the Kelley Park San Jose VW show.
 Well worth the few hours I was there.  Wasn't able to do the list picnic

this time but hopefully next year.  I did see "Coyotes"  van parked outside
and to his credit he saw my "Netvergnugen" T-shirt through my  zipped up
windbreaker and introduced himself.  Certainly worthy conduct of a list
co-administrator.  I'm impressed.  I was also surprized to see Dennis Dolen
from Sunnyvale VW doing the sales/PR thing with a new Beetle.  There were a
few new Beetles there.  

Malcom Hosler said he should enter his Double Cab next year and I heartily
agree.   My friends and I were armchair quarterbacking on the way home for
next year and one friend is threatening to enter his Harlequin Golf III
(with the multi color body panels).  I think it would be fun to bring my EV
MV as well.  Go to the carwash the day before and you're set.  I only saw

one EVC parked in the zoo lot and for all I know the people went to the zoo
and not the VW show.  Overall a lot of fun for a few hours especially for a
person who usually works weekends.
