I have quite a few Snap-On 3/8 and 1/2 pieces as well, wouldn't swap them for MAC, Blackhawk, or anything. But I have no 3/4 drive Snap-On as I'm not the ruler of a small country and haven't found any cheap at auction. I'm not debating Snap-On quality, simply saying the 3/4 drive HF set is an exceptional deal, that any VW owner will need eventually for pressing seals if nothing else and will likely never break. As to the quality of current Craftsman products, I did a report back in school for the ME, you don't want to know basically. There is a reason all those forgings became thicker and more poorly done, this was later backed up by a friend who worked for MAC when they were subbing for Sears in the 70's but lost the contract, about the time the quality went down the tubes. Still I have the Craftsman set as well, cause when you break it you just get pissed and go back for a new one, but at least you don't have to track down a roving tool guy, and at least you didn't pay 4-5 times the price.
