I feel kinda dumb asking this question but before I spend time tracing wires and testing with test lights I have to ask the List about the flourescent light in my Carat. It doesn't light when I push the switch and the ballast doesn't hum or anything like its getting power. So it seems like it is not getting power. I looked in the owner's manual and all it said was that you should be careful not to leave the light on so as not to run the battery down (who would've guessed). So before I spend much time on this is there something simple that I am overlooking? Is there a fuse especially for this light? The bulb could be burnt out but the ends don't look black like I am used to seeing on bad bulbs of this type. I feel foolish even asking you guys for help with this, but thought I would swallow my pride and see if you could save me some grief. Thanks Ken Wilford John 3:16 PS where would you get a replacement bulb for this lamp if it was bad?
