In addition to Cary, I have privately posted to several list members asking this same question that's appeared from time to time the procedure from start to finish of this upgrade, based on my experiences with my 2.1 upgrade in my 84 Westy last year.

I would post it directly to the list, but it'sa rather large file. Hopefully when the Vanagon "How To" Archives reconfiguration are finished by Ron, I will upload to him this entire procedure for everyone's viewing pleasure. If I had the time, I would reconfigure it for HTML and post it on my website, but I have been swamped as of late.

In the meantime, if anyone else would like a copy of it, pmail with the subject: HOW TO: 2.1 to 83.5-85

And I will forward a copy of this procedure to those that ask.

Thanks
