Eric, First of all, let me apologize...it was not my intention to offend
you, which I obviously did. Second of all, you have to understand that you
are suggesting a radical departure from the recommended coolant system
maintenance. If I am reading you posts accurately, you are suggesting using
any type of antifreeze (with or without phosphates) coupled with pure
water, and never changing the coolant again. This flies in the face of
everything I've read (use only phosphate free and flush/change regularly).
I'm not saying you're wrong, but when you make the claim that using your
procedure will eliminate the dreaded head gasket failure, a little proof
(actual or theoretical) would help.
