Subject: Vanagon Mechanic For Hire
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
It has come to my attention that in my area (South Jersey, Philadelphia,
Baltimore, Central Jersey) there are not many places where you can have your
Vanagon worked on when you have a problem. Mostly people take thier vans to
the dealer since they have no other choice and have to pay big bucks for mechs
that have never or very rarely touched a Vanagon anyway.
So I have decided that since I am fairly knowledable about Vanagons and have
been through most of the "woes" and am a good mechanic (if I do say so
myself), I would like to offer my services to the local folks who are on this
List.
I charge $15/hr plus traveling time (I can come to your house and do most
repairs). I know some other mechanics are probably upset because I am
charging so little because it might make them look expensive but you have to
remember that these guys have lots and over head with a shop to pay rent on
and all kinds of Snap-On tool sets to pay for that I don't have. I have the
tools to do the job but I just don't have the overhead so I don't have to
charge as much.
So I have already been doing some work for people on thier VW's around here
(Jettas and Vanagons) and just wanted to let people know that I am available
and ready to work.
I posted this because I not only need the money but I believe that there is a
need for this kind of service in this area as well.
Call me or email me if you need my services.

Thanks
