The Bosch 03 010 and 03 212 caps are virtually identical except the the 03 212 has pins in the plug wire sockets, requiring the use of the later (and I feel better because of RF suppression at both ends of the wires) Bosch 09 272 Ignition wires. I use this set up on my 84. The distributors are different as shown on my ignition.html webpage on my site. They could be interchangeable between 84 and 85, but I would recommend doing it as a complete changeover. The coil and ignition control module's are the same however. There are a few minor differences in the Throttle Idle and Enrichment Switch arrangement as well. I believe the 85 has the two separate switches used on 83.5-84 as a single unit on the 85.
