The last time I talked to a VW rep, He said that VW has a very strong commitment to sales in the U.S. I think the company was floundering after the death of Hinze Nordoff (sp) until F. Piech took over and now they are moving ahead full steam. However, I don't see a company that sells millions of vehicles world wide spending a lot of time catering to a thousand or so owners to 8-15 year old vans, but it would be nice if they would loosen up on some of the parts that they own the patens on, I E: Syncro parts!
