I'm in the proccess of a test with K&N filters. There is for some reason a relationship between this filter and your Vanagon running hotter. Not much, but in my case this and other thing are a problem. My test will be complete in about a week. It simply makes my Syncro run hotter. I'm thinking it leans out the fuel a bit. The next step is to run it without an air filter and see what happens. All takes time. Somthing I don't have. Eric 86-VW4x4 vw4x4@fyi.net 72-240z Pittsburgh, PA USA 1936-Chrysler

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of
Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection
will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
