Hey There! In an attempt to correct a cold idle (or lack thereof) situation I replaced the coolant sensor. Prior to replacing the coolant sensor Rosa would not really cold idle. She would fire right up and idle but as soon as you started to drive she would not idle again until warm. Several people advised to replace the coolant sensor...and for $14 I gave it a try. Now she starts right up, idles for a while but then runs extremely rough, no power, very rough warm idle, the exhaust smells rich and smokes. I disconnected the coolant sensor (with engine warm) and there was no change. What have I done? Thanks for any and all replies.... Chris P. |
