A story to share, VW made a mistake when they designed the Vanagon; they made them too irresistible. On Friday night (GOOD Friday) some person(s) found my 12 year old radio just too much to resist. Now I stupidly left the doors locked, so this posed a small problem. A problem that was easily overcome with a small rock. Who needs the driver's side window anyway. Now this person(s) didn't want to disturb anyone (one mile from the nearest house) so s/he carefully knocked out even the last little piece of glass and crawled through the window (opening doors can cause alarms to go off). Here a pry, there a pry and... try another pry...what the he**... why won't it come out. Oh sh*t look how the pieces are raining down over the nice glass covered carpet. Hey s/he didn't really want that stinking radio anyway. Larry ;=( '86 Syncro Westfalia
