That plastic part - only if you break the 8mm plastic fitting that goes to the bypass hose would you need to replace it. When removing the 7mm hose from that piece, use a razor to slit apart the hose from the fitting. If you try to pull it off (like I did), it snaps right off like the cheap plastic it is and it's time to shell out about $50us for a new one.
