ok, here we go. . .

Hi, my name is AnDrew, and I'm a Vanoholic. "Hi AnDrew!!!" I come from a
VW family, having owned anything from bug to bus to ghia to corrodo(nice
car, by the way) - and i am finally driving my own Bus ('82 Diesel)
rather than my folks. . .quick survey - how many people out there took
their driver's test in a Bus? both my sister and i did.

my parents are latter day hippies, having missed the '60's because they
were missionaries at the time - and have come back to it here in Turkey.
i have therefore had charity and service instilled into - or beaten, if
you prefer - into my mind, body, and soul since age negative 10. that's
one of the reason's i drive a bus. mine's a people mover - the rarish 9
seater.

Roberta(the Bus) has her own history, the PO being a Girls High School
that the foreign teachers would use. all of them. needless to say, with
that many previous drivers, it has taken a while to get all of the bugs
worked out. and identified.

when 'Bert isn't being used hauling people, it hauls computer networking
stuff all over Turkey. I am the I.S. Manager for a number of schools
(k-12) a pulishing house, hospital, and nursing school. being a bachelor,
i don't get to the nursing school as often as i wish, but. . .nevermind.
in the off hours, i am part of an English teaching theater troupe called
Speech Bubbles(web site soon to come), where 'Bert stands in as props
master while we're on tour.
