PEOPLE!

Arright, I've gritted my teeth with this sordid thing so far, but this kind of off-topic, non-VW-content, non-Type2 (this is about copyright with the *vanagon* archives, remember?), pissing match is way too much for my (delicate?) stomach. It's not even done well enough to be entertaining. Where the hell's your Ob Type2 content, Bob? Why'dya have to cross-post type2 with your oh-so-clever-and-scathing retorts? How about you and Ron sort this little problem out yourselves like good little boys, then post a summary to the list (maybe even the Type2 list?) when you're done?

Am I the only one who doesn't need their ISP time eaten up with crap that's not what I've subscribed to the Type2 list for? This ain't usenet. I didn't ask for Bob vs. Ron when I subscribed to the Type2 list. Ron seemed to have put his foot in it, appears to be making reasonable amends, so move on or shut up. If the v@l folks enjoy a flame war, them power to 'em--but keep the flame war on their list, ok? Do I have to add "Hoover" and "copyright" to my kill file?

I can't *believe* I'm having to waste bandwidth posting this, since it's a non-VW, non-type2 post and therefore hypocritical, but I've had enough. Grow up, leave type2@type2.com out of it, or both. Cripes!

Ken, sorry in advance for publicly expressing an opinion regarding the content of the list, but this is over the top, IMVHO of course. Please don't take this post as a comment on your competence as a list admin. Ken, if you want this stuff to continue on type2, lemme know, biggest respect for you in the world, but lemme know and I'll just kill file a lot of incoming type2 stuff.

Bob or anyone else, if you *have* to flame me PULEEZE do it p-mail.

And I shouldn't have to justify my VW list pedigree to those who've been around a while.

Tobin Ob Type2: I'd rather be camping in my bus than writing this.
