Hi Volks,

Can we stop this for a second?

I noticed the vanagon traffic has increased approximately 30% since the CD
agenda/argument took hold.  If it's not another"me too" or I disagree" with
the entire posting attached, it's Sudhir or Ken with another gotta post my
two cents to every thread ever created(no offense intended, you both seem
like nice people). It's getting harder each day to find information, rather
than opinion that's off topic. I thought this was a list pertaining to the
machine we all love(and sometimes hate).  Can't we focus here?

I have an opinion on this issue, but I'll keep it to myself.  I only hope I
never send any of my work stuff to the list mistakenly, as I have done to
another list previously(scarey, but at least that one wasn't in english).

This is the list admin's decision, it's not a vote.  My hope is that Ron
makes an informed decision, and seeks credible counsel instead of opinion,
so no unreasonable risk is incurred on his part.

If there are not enough emergency funds to keep the list running, please
say so now, Ron.  I have saved thousands of dollars by reading the list,
and using the archives.  I've steered away from shysters, learned to do
many things myself, found a good shop(Fred's did the heads) and now I just
learned of a new manual that will make life even easier once I have it (and
at a list discount). List members have assisted me in specific solutions to
my vanagon's difficulties, and I have tried to do the same, when I can.
The Friday humor is great.

 I would gladly send a hundred dollars today to keep the list safe and
operational, just give me the address and it's on it's way.

Let's not let this turn into another debocle like the camping/burning of
last year.
