After talking with some Vanagon guy yesterday who sounded like he really didn't have much use for oilburning Vanagons (regular or blown), I was hoping to hear from any of you who have done the conversion from normally aspirated diesel to turbo-d Vanagons, and what you use for a transmission, mileage, top speed, comfortable cruising speed, if you've intercooled it, stuck with 1.6 litre engine, etc., etc., etc. Mark Thoma |
