I also have an '86 2wd Westi with air conditioning and it did not come equipped with any pressure cutout switches in the refrigerant lines. I know this because I pulled out all the refrigerant hoses last summer and replaced them with barrier type hoses while I was adding an in-the-dash second AC evaporator unit and changing to R-134a. There were no switches. This is contrary to what is described in Bentley but this is what I found. Ed McLean '86 Westi w/dual AC North Carolina
