Hey listees, by coincidence, before I could raed my easter-digest-mails yesterday I could get held of one of the VW-printed-part-books (with all the parts of a vanagon in pictures but w/o the part numbers) for my '90 caravelle. I've seen that some people are interested in it and I've ordered a number of 10 for each of the available issues (80 to 85, 86 to 87, 88 to 92) on my own risk. The price will be in the 6US$ area (Bjoern, 5.- DM maybe the oficial price, but my dealer asked for 12.- DM) (w/o german bundespost or anything) The problem with all VW printed things here is, that they are delivered not by VW itself but by Bertelsmann, a big company for prints, and you'll never know how long it'll take to get held of. I've been waiting for a german users manual for my ex Golf Mk3 Cabrio for more than 5 months.... In the moment I've only got one copy of a 86-87 and one from 88-92 to give away. I intend to wait until my order is here and then we can make a plan how to send them over the big pond. Michael Braunschweig, Germany 58 split 77 westy 90 caravelle |
