Hi everybody I have some problems accelerating with my van when it's warm... When engine is at operating temperature, driving in the city becomes a real nightmare. I have almost no power in 1st and 2nd gear when light turns green...It won't accelerate until I am half way through the intersection. This happens particularly when the waiting period at the red light is long. The engine idles fine cold or warm though. And the faster I shift in second or third gear helps too. Could it be the temperature sensor #2 ? Fuel pump ? (gas filter looks new). And BTW,could somebody explain me the difference between Temperature sensor # 2 and temperature sensor #1 and where they are located? Thank you so much Alain Thibault Vancouver, BC Westfalia 1991 |
