Hi everybody!
My name is Calle Fallberg, I´m 42 years old and has just joined your
"little" mailinglist :-)
Boy do you guys have a lot to discuss!
And I´m enjoying every single bit of it!!
But I guess this was supposed to be about myself:
As stated above I´m 42 years old.
I´m living in a little village called Mullhyttan with about 600
inhabitants some 25 miles west of Örebro in central Sweden.
The reason I joined is that I recently bought a 1988 Vanagon wich I´m
going to convert to a "camper" and was surfing around to try and find
someone with a little bit of good ideas that I might be able to copy.
It´s not supposed to be anything fancy though, just a little room for me
and my lady to sleep in while we´re out on "exibitiontours " or just
vacations along with our dogs.
And since the dogs are quite big - Belgian Shepherd Dogs ( about the
same size as German Shepherds) - and there is four of them I´ll also try
and fit in a couple of cages.
And last but not least, I use the bus as a commuter ´bout 500 miles a
month, sometimes - but rarely though- with passengers so I´d like it to
be easily convertable.
I´ve had a couple of VW´s before, a Rabbit diesel a couple of years ago
and a -74 Van in the mid eighties but othervise it´s been mostly
domestic cars, a couple of SAAB 99 & 900 and a bunch of Volvo station
wagons but the Vanagon seems to be the best "dogcar" so far :-) ,even
though I looked upon a couple of Toyotas and even an ASTRO before I
decided.
