I think all we need is someone to independently verify these figures and then a solid discussion of what you give up to get these numbers (reliability, emmissions, etc.) and we're done. These numbers are very impressive on the face of it. The fact that they come from what appears to be an ad or brochure from overseas is less impressive.

Why don't you ask the company if they will pay for a dyno test to see if we can duplicate this performance for the North American market. If we can, I am sure you can sell a lot of these.

For the record, folks, Kyle has shown me an impressive spec sheet on his 2.1 litre power increase kit. Representative results are:

3,500 rpm

Torque jumps from about 21 to about 30 and horsepower jumps from about 51 HP to about 63 HP.

About 75% of the increase is due to the rockers, while about 25% is due to the chip.

As I say, the figures are impressive. We need to duplicate them on a USA dyno, however.

Hey Kyle, why don't you get Michael Sullivan at Openmarket to get into one of these. He seems to be in a mood for this kind of adventure/expense.
