I picked up this group purchase effort form Michael Wagner, who didn't have the time to pursue it. (like I do either!) Thanks Michael for the work you have done on this!

I would like to hear from some of you who have one of the Carver P4's or the Propex's installed. The question of reliability has come up, and I can't recall hearing of any problems, so please speak up with your experiences. You can p-mail me if you like, and I'll post your comments to my Carver P4 web page, without your e-mail address of course.

the Carver P4 is supposed to be an improved version of the Propex heater. Carver has improved the heater to comply with strict German TUV regulations. I'm not sure of what these improvements entail, but I do know that the P4 now has a double walled exhaust flue.

I want to order at least 10 units to get the discount. I now have about 7 listees interested, so I would like to get a few more folks on line. Now is the perfect time of year to install this thing, and think of the value it will add to your bus or vanagon. The brochure says you can use it while driving, so if you have a Westy with a propane tank, this is the easiest way to add heat.
