Performance rockers and puchrods Vs cam... Has anyone added new rockers? Pleasurable results?

Has anyone ever (really) put a nitrous system in his or her Vanagon?

And lastly... How many more horses come with the 2.1--over the 1.9?

I'm new to the list, and about to rebuild my '85 1.9L. Should I look around for a 2.1L? I have to rebuild top and bottom, so it's a big investment and I'm exploring all of my options.

Thanks a lot in advance... jjb

PS My Westy is in need of a name... if you help me decide what to do I may name her after you.

PPS I'm from Gainesville (FL) and supposedly there are two more of you from Hogtown as well; please drop me a line--I'd love to see your buses!
