Hello again, Thanks for your quick responses on my questions yesterday, you guys are awesome...

It turns out that the 81'Westie 3sp automatic gas (130000 miles) has a Gex engine in it with 50000 miles on it. Q: Is this a good or a bad thing? Q: Do I understand this right that Gex takes an old VW engine and rebuilds it with some own (Gex) parts or do they actually build whole (new) engines themselves?
