I agree with Derek, don't use ABC I've seen it eat up a lot of stuff. I don't know the chemstry but it seems to love to react with all the alloys in VW/german engines as well as wires, plastics, rubber etc! If you have used it or have to in the future get it off stuff immediately and try to do most of it with compressed air, water just sloshes it around and I think is the catalyst )or whatever) for the corosive action!
