hello again,
    i forgot to mention that my van is also on it's fourth
transmission.  after the original, i put in 3 GEX transmissions.  the
first one lasted 6 weeks, the next lasted 1, and i'm still useing the
third one i put in.  but my GEX engine is now so screwed up, i'm just
going to replace it.  (i posted the GEX engine mail).  fortunatly, the
waranty covered them, but only after the dipshit in the waranty
department talked to my mechanic.  aparently wouldn't believe a 19 year
old punk kid with a volkswagen van.  or at least, that's the impression
i got from him.  well, enough of me complaining about GEX, i'd like to
hear what you guy and gals think of them.
