No, the '72-74 boxes are completely different; only Vanagon heat exchangers will work.

Now that you mention it, though, I have one Vanagon heater box that was ordered for a customer and never claimed. I'd take an extra 10% off that one, so $179 for one and $199 for the other. This would save you a few bucks anyway. Was meaning to put it up on my Listmembers Only page (http://www.busdepot.com/members.htm) but haven't had a chance to update it yet.
